Carlos Arturo Hidalgo

Carlos Arturo Hidalgo passed away on Friday, February 9, 2024, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 76.  He was born on Sunday, November 23, 1947 in Santiago, Chile to the late Noemi Fernandez and the late Carlos Enrique Hidalgo Jurado.  He was a resident of Hammond, Louisiana.

Carlos is survived by his wife, Sandra B. Hidalgo; children, Sandra "Mimi" Davis (B.J. Michael), Carlos "C.J." Arturo Hidalgo, Jr.(Brandi), Sharon Hope Delabar , Lora Campos, and Noel Campos(Yvonne); grandchildren, Elijah Michael Hidalgo, Gabriel Joseph Hidalgo, Anna Hidalgo, Brianna Bernos, Hope Bernos, Cambria Davis, Christian Muroski, Chloe Muroski, Hope Sullivan, Trisha Terry, Catherine Espino, Jessica Espino, Josh Campos, and Zoe Campos; great-grandson Jaxsen Sullivan; and sisters, Noemi "Nonoy" Hidalgo and Eliana Edith Ivonne Hidalgo Fernandez.

He was preceded in death by his father, Carlos Enrique Hidalgo Jurado; mother, Noemi Fernandez; and sister, Maria Teresa Hidalgo.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond, 2000 N. Morrison Boulevard, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Friday, February 16, 2024, beginning at 11:00 AM until the funeral service begins at 1:00 PM. 

Interment will follow in Rose Memorial Park Cemetery, Hammond, Louisiana.
