Carl "Mickey" Hoover

Carl "Mickey" Hoover passed away on Monday, September 5, 2022, in Ponchatoula, Louisiana, at the age of 77.  He was born on Tuesday, June 26, 1945, to the late Mary and the late Enos Hoover.  He was a resident of Ponchatoula, Louisiana.

Carl is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Elaine Hoover; his children, Carla (Sammy), Carl (Samantha), Timmy (Jacklyn); step-daughters, Lisa (Denny), Amanda (Earl);16 grandchildren, Christopher and Starla, Selena and Caroline, Austin, Cayden and Kayla, Nicholas, Steven, Christopher, Michael, Denny III, Justin and Matthew, Alaina and Samantha; his great-grandchild, Brendon; plus 13 step-grandchildren; his sister and brother-in-law, Edith Hoover (Jerry); best friends, Rose and Arnold Hoyt; dear friend, Mark Lee; and his cat, Smokie.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Enos Hoover; grandchild, Trent Lala; as well as his brother and sister, Gene Hoover and Ruth Ellen Pritchard.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral Service at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home - Ponchatoula, 100 W. Magnolia St., Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454, on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at 11:00 am. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2022, 9:00 am - 11:00 am.

Interment will follow in Bedico Community Cemetery, Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
