Calvin "MC" Anthony

Calvin "MC" Anthony was born in Independence, Louisiana on August 13, 1979. He passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at 45 years old at his home in Uneedus, Louisiana.

MC is survived by his mother and stepfather, Tonya Anthony and Stanley B. Anthony; two children, Cameron "Gauge" Anthony and Kaitlyn Cheyenne Anthony; step-son, Ian Bishop; sister, Delilah Anthony; brothers, Johnny Anthony, Calvin Anthony Jr., and Gus Anthony; nephew, Christopher Todd "TK" Kennedy II; as well as other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Calvin M. Anthony; sister, Sharon Denise Anthony Hihar; grandfather, MC "Bull" Anthony; grandmother, Barbara Baham Anthony; and grandmother, Betty Cambré Nagel.

MC's passion was fishing. He would hit every water hole he could find and has been fishing since he was big enough to hold a pole. He loved spending time with his kids as much as he could. He loved hanging out with his friends and he loved riding his motorbike for as long as he could. MC was loyal and had a good heart (emotionally), if only his physical heart could have been just as good.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401 on Saturday, March 29, 2025 from 10:00 am until the Funeral Service begins at 12:00 pm.
