Butch Lott

Butch Lott, 50 years old of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2016, in Hammond. He was born on Thursday, January 13, 1966, in Independence, Louisiana to Sim Lott Jr. and Mary Alice Navarre Lott. Butch enjoyed life and loved NASCAR and dirt racing but he especially loved spending time with his family. 

Butch is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Sheila Phillips Lott, his daughter, Ashley Lott, his son, Jonathan Lott, his mother, Mary Alice Navarre Lott, his brothers, Tommy Lott and his wife Ruthie, Barry Lott and his wife Michelle and Josh Lott, his mother in law, Wilda Delaughter Phillips, his sister in laws, Debra Howell and her husband Rickey and Mary May and her husband Rayford, also many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and close friends. 

He is preceded in death by his father, Sim Lott, Jr. and his father in law, Millard Phillips. 

A Visitation for Butch will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 from 10:00am until 12:00noon at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula. A Funeral Service Celebrating Butch's Life will immediately follow visitation at 12:00noon in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in the Sand Hill Cemetery in Ponchatoula.
