Bruce Raymond Hart, Sr.

Bruce Raymond Hart, Sr., of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away at his home on Monday, December 5, 2022, at the age of 88. He was born on January 13, 1934, in New Orleans, Louisiana, the son of the late Henry Harry Hart and Anna LaCoste Hart. Bruce was a proud veteran of the US Navy and retired member of Local 60 Union.

Bruce is survived by his wife, Mercedes "Dee" Landry Hart; children, Bruce R. Hart, Jr. (Kim), Craig S. Hart (Lori), Cherrie H. Escudé (André), and Eric J. Hart (Lisa); grandchildren, Christina, Stacey, Carly, Gabrielle, Daniel, and Amanda; 12 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Bruce was preceded in death by his siblings, Ethel St. Romain, Shirley Goddard, and Gene Hart; and daughter-in-law, Beth Rooney Hart.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 100 W. Magnolia St., Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454 on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will be held at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home -  Ponchatoula, on Wednesday at 2:00 pm.

Entombment will follow at Rosaryville Mausoleum in Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
