Bridget Christine Bates

Bridget Christine Bates passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2023, in Harvey, Louisiana, at the age of 37.  She was born on Sunday, December 29, 1985 in Hammond, Louisiana to the late Brenda Guiffreda Bates and Billy Bates, Sr.  

Bridget is survived by her father, Billy Bates, Sr.(Clara); children, Maleaha, Aleaha, and Elijah; sisters, Tammy Nauck(Chris) and Crystal Barnes; brothers, Jeffery Scott Meyn, Billy Bates, Jr.(Dania), and Jason Bates(Ashley); and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Brenda Guiffreda Bates; sister, Brittney Denise Bates; and grandparents, Jeanette Berteau, J.Y. Bates, Viola Vining Giuffreda, and Frank Guiffreda.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula, 100 W. Magnolia Street, Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454, on Sunday, December 3, 2023, beginning at 6:00 PM until the funeral service begins at 8:00 PM.
