Brandon Joseph Sykes

Brandon Joseph Sykes passed away on December 22, 2020, in Albany, Louisiana, at the age of 32. He was born on Monday, April 25, 1988 in Hammond, Louisiana to Shannon Sykes Watkins and the late Robert Earl Sykes, Sr. He was a resident of Albany,Louisiana.

Brandon is survived by his children, Brynleigh Grace Sykes, Kyleigh Brooks, and Isaiah Brooks; fiancée, Christina Brooks; mother, Shannon Sykes Watkins; and siblings, Robert Earl Sykes, Jr., Tiffany Fambro, and Mason Fambro (Bailey) and his beloved dog, Rex.  

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Earl Sykes, Sr.; paternal grandparents, EL and Marie Lois Sykes; and maternal grandmother, Bonnie Gaubert Stewart.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Sunday, December 27, 2020 beginning at 9:00 AM until the funeral service begins at 12:00 PM.

Interment will follow in Sykes Family Cemetery, Holden, Louisiana.

In lieu of flowers, please be kind to one another.  Share your struggles and fears and joys, be present and patient in each other's journeys.  And when love seems to fail- because sometimes love is not enough to ward off health conditions or mental illness- then love more, pray more, talk more, learn more,and live more.
