Bradley Wayne Wilson, Sr.

Bradley Wayne Wilson, Sr. passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, in Covington, Louisiana, at the age of 52.  He was born on Tuesday, July 7, 1970 in Hammond, Louisiana to Brenda Bowman Wilson and the late Donnie Wilson.  He was a resident of Ponchatoula, Louisiana.

Brad could fix anything, and he was a jack of all trades, earning the nickname "MacGyver."  He used those skills to help everyone around him, and no matter what he had going on, if you needed him Brad was always there.  He was a former member of the Springfield Volunteer Fire Department and made the rank of Captain during his service to the community.  After high school, Brad attended technical school and graduated valedictorian.  In his early life, he enjoyed boating, listening to music, and old cars, especially his 1968 Chevy Stepside, which he talked about every chance he had.  Brad was very close to his grandfather, Eddie Wilson up until his passing.  

Brad is survived by his mother, Brenda Bowman Wilson; sons, Michael Arnouville and Dylan Wilson and his wife, Emily; grandchildren, Zachary, Paisley, Beckham "Bear", and Tucker; siblings, Danny Wilson and Scott Wilson and his wife, Monica; nieces and nephews, Julia Bankston, Haven Chappuis, Susie "Sunshine" Wilson, Kerri Pugh and her husband, Caleb, Alyssa Cummings, Colten Cummings, and Savannah Wilson; girlfriend, Sherri Arnouville; aunts, Louis Lamp and Elaine "Peewee" Vicknair; and uncle, Larry Wilson.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donnie Wilson; son, Bradley Wayne Wilson, Jr.; grandparents, Eddie and Christine Wilson, Earlo and Vivian Bowman, and Ray Ausbon; and aunts and uncles, Dianna Leblanc, Charles "Bud" Wilson, Janet Basso, Willard Vicknair, Dickie Lamp, Norman Basso, and Ruby Wilson.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula, 100 W Magnolia Street, Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454, on Thursday, August 25, 2022 beginning at 6:00 PM until the funeral service begins at 8:00 PM.

Interment will be the following day, Friday, August 26, 2022, at Ponchatoula Cemetery, Ponchatoula, Louisiana at 3:00 PM.
