Blaine Joseph Gulotta Sr. peacefully passed away surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, June 29, 2025, at North Oaks Medical Center in Hammond, Louisiana. He was an Area Manager for I-I Soft Craft Solutions as well as the Owner of Vision Powersports, were he specialized in fabrication, repairs, audio and accessories for SxS and ATVs. Blaine worked hard to provide for his family and always made sure they were happy and taken care of at all times. He had a heart of gold, who was devoted to anything he put his mind to. Just to mention a few of his many talents, was that he could fix everything that was brought to him, he caught on quickly to understand any task, would help anyone who needed it and never asked for anything in return and who did so with diligence and integrity. Blaine was an outgoing busybody for sure. In his spare time you could find him fishing, mud riding, camping, racing, building bikes and audio systems, doing redneck things, and cooking up some mean BBQ or delicious boiled crawfish. He was known to be a little stubborn and hardheaded, usually because he was more than likely right. Above all else he loved being a dad and spending time with his family, which was his whole world, from his daily facetimes to his children, to being homesick when he had to be out of town even for a day, to spoiling them as often as he could, he was always there. A man of many gifts may have left this world, but he also left a legacy of love, generosity, and selflessness behind to inspire others. Blaine was an amazing dad, loving husband, brother, and friend to all who knew him.
He is survived by his adoring wife, Heidi Chauvin Gulotta; two beautiful children, Blaine Joseph Jr. and Raelyn Grace Gulotta; parents, John Joseph and Cathy Wascom Gulotta; sisters, Ashley Gulotta Guzzardo (John Russell) and Lacey Gulotta Esler (Jason Paul Esler); nieces and nephews, Bethainee Lynn, Bryelle Marie, Blakely Nickole, Aiden Xander, Inara Faith, Jemma Jaselyn, and Eliot Zane; as well as his work family, off road family and countless friends.
Preceding Blaine in death were his paternal grandparents, Joseph Lawrence and Christine Sirchia Gulotta; maternal grandfather, Ralph Wascom Sr.; and his nephew, Ian Russell Guzzardo.
Family and friends are invited to attend Blaine's Celebration of Life on Saturday, July 5th, 2025, at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Bro. Emanuel Lange will be officiating the service.
