Bjorn Slaite Smith

Heaven’s gain was our loss when our angel, Bjorn Slaite Smith, was called by our Lord on Monday, February 13, 2023.

Bjorn left behind a loving family, including his parents, Jessie Smith and Abigail Mocklin; brothers, Dalton and Cole Smith; grandparents, Amy Smith & Carl Falgout, Ted Mocklin, and Robert & Diane Garsaud; great grandparents, Ned & Sandra Mocklin; godparents, Taylor & Harley Spillers, and Chasity Kyzar; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was welcomed in Heaven by his great grandparents, Marlene Smith, and Charles & Shirley Smith; and cousin, Carrie Bordelon.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401 on Saturday, February 25, 2023 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm, with a Funeral Service at 1:00 pm.

Interment will follow at Loranger Community Cemetery in Loranger, Louisiana.
