Billy "Wild Bill" C. Mulkey Sr.

Billy C. Mulkey Sr., “Wild Bill”, peacefully passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2024, surrounded by family at the age of 66. He was born on Wednesday, July 31, 1957, to the late Hillary J. Mulkey Jr. and Linda Dunnington Wainwright. Billy may be gone, but he is not forgotten. One thing is for sure, God took home a real one and he most definitely will be missed. He left a hell of an impact on the world and much happiness. Billy was a carpenter for over 30 years, and he built many, many fine homes. He was an amazing husband, friend, father, son, brother, and grandfather. Billy would give anyone the shirt off of his back or his last dollar, no questions asked. He loved to spend time with friends and family. Billy loved to have cookouts, fish, and anything to do with the outdoors. There wasn’t much he couldn’t do, and he definitely had a trick for everything.

All things are possible. Ain’t no such thing as CAN’T!

Billy is survived by his wife, Rochelle Reine Mulkey; children, Christopher Mulkey, Billy Mulkey Jr., Adam J. Mulkey, Skyler Mulkey, and Justin Mulkey; grandchildren, BreAnna Mulkey, Caiden Mulkey, Jade, Kyleigh, and Tylin Mulkey, and Sean, Brooklyn, and Aubree Chiappetta; great-grandchildren, Kaislee Mae Hyde and Blaine Mulkey. He is also survived by his sister, Sharon Tallo Gendusa; half-brothers, Billy Joseph Mulkey, Lonnie Mulkey; half-sisters, Missy Mulkey and Debbie Daniels; sister-in-law, Amy Brady; brother-in-law, Roland James Reine, and daughters-in-law, Marcie Mulkey, Megan, and Hannah Mulkey; Niece, Deanna Mulkey; and Nephew, Ferlin Mulkey.

In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by his daughter, Shelly Lynn Mulkey; grandson, Ryan McCollum Jr.; brother, Ferlin Mulkey Sr.; stepfather, Floyd Wainwright; grandparents, Hillery and Mae Mulkey, Elvy J. Dunnington, and Louise Fitzgerald Dunnington; mother-in-law, Sharon Barnes; father-in-law, Joseph Roland Reine; brother-in-law, Dennis Brady; sister-in-law, Kathy Jones Reine; daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Hutto Mulkey; and nephew, Chad Tallo.

Services for Billy will be held at a later date.
