Beverly Compton Miano

Beverly Compton Miano, of Hammond, Louisiana, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at the age of 80. She was born on Monday, January 28, 1946, in Independence, Louisiana, the daughter of the late Arthur Compton Sr. and the late Margie Thompson Compton.

Beverly found her great joy in caring for her garden, where every flower reflected the love and dedication she poured into it. She was honored as a "Garden of the Month" recipient many times, a testament to the pride she took in creating beauty around her. Pink carnations were her favorite, holding a special place in her heart. She also loved decorating her home, making it a warm and welcoming place for family and friends. Whether tending her garden or her home, Beverly had a gift for creating spaces filled with beauty and love.

Beverly is survived by her husband of 56 years, Robert S. Miano; daughters, Kim Navarra (Roy) and Melanie LeBoeuf (AJ); grandchildren, Justin Navarra and Candace Navarra; great-grandchildren, Maddix, Mila, Cali, and Kinsley; brother, Arthur Compton, Jr.; and sister, Janice Monistere.

In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by her sister, Rose Pierce.

Services will be held privately by the family.
