Betty Anne Pinion

Betty Ann Anderson Pinion, of Hammond, Louisiana, passed away at Belle Maison Nursing Home on Monday, April 20, 2026, at the age of 89. She was born on Friday, February 26, 1937, in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Betty is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Vadelia and James Brown, son & daughter-in-law, Robbie and Lynn Pinion, son & daughter-in-law, Allen and Beth Pinion, son & daughter-in-law, Keith and Andre Pinion; sisters, Lucille Fernandez and Cecile Bush, brothers, Jerome Anderson and Charlie Anderson; grandchildren, Holly McCabe, Bridget Kennedy, Keith Pinion, Jr., Megan Trabeaux (Todd), D'Sha Debate, Desirae Parent, Chad Pinion (Danielle), Mindy Buratt (J.R.); great-grandchildren, Brett, Trigg, Millie, Bailey, Jade, Kadie, Chad Jr., Samuel, and Sawyer; great-great grandchild, Oakley June.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony "Tony" Pinion; parents, Fred Anderson and Lucille Ryan Anderson, sister, Mildred Lewis, brothers, Raymond Anderson and Freddie Anderson.

A graveside service will be held at Maurepas Cemetery, in Maurepas, Louisiana on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at 3:00 pm.
