Betty Joy Mitchell Falterman

Betty Joy Mitchell Falterman, of Robert, Louisiana, passed away at her home on Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at the age of 92. She was born on October 20, 1925, in New Orleans, Louisiana, the daughter of the late Henry H. Mitchell and the late Amelia Morgan Mitchell. Betty graduated in 1942 and went on to graduate from the school of nursing at Charity Hospital class of 1946. She retired as a registered nurse and was a longtime member of the Robert Church of God.

Betty is survived by her three children, Cindy Rodocker, Paul Falterman, and Hans Falterman; grandchildren, Amber Falterman, Robin Floyd, and Bobby Floyd; great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Brianna, and Robert; and nieces Cathy Bush and Marie Gordon, as well as nephew Victor Gordon.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Paul Falterman; brother, Henry Mitchell; and twin sister, Patsy Sanders.
