Betty Ann Cook Joiner, of Loranger, Louisiana, peacefully passed away at her home on Friday, July 7, 2023, at the age of 82.  She was born on Monday, October 21, 1940, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to her late parents, Sam and Katie Rist Cook.  Betty Ann retired from the Tangipahoa Parish School system.  She was a simple lady who loved her family dearly and was a member of the Crossband Cowboy Church in Loranger. 
Betty Ann is survived by her husband, Roy A. Joiner; children, Tammy J. Smith (Randy), Todd Joiner (Ruth) and Tieg Joiner (Sarah); grandchildren, Kirby Smith Harter (Bradley), Jessica Smith Miller (Derrick), Blaine Joiner (Ashley), Wyatt, Marc, Tate, and Tineley Joiner; great-grandchildren, Houston and Branson Harter, Maddie, Jett and Tripp Miller, Aubrey, Avery, and Hudson Joiner.  Betty is also survived by her brothers, Gene, Donnie and Bert Cook; and her sister, Sue Cook French.
She is Preceded in death by her parents, and her siblings, Samuel H Cook, Beverly Jane Cook Dean, Robert C. Cook, Kathleen Cook Sampson.
Family will hold a private service.  Family and Friends are encouraged to send condolences and share memories online.
