Betty Jean Morel Hayden

Betty Jean Morel Hayden  passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2018, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 70.  She was born on August 30, 1947 in Hammond, Louisiana to the late Gloria Sibley Morel and the late John Morel.  She was a resident of Loranger, Louisiana.

Betty  is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Aldridge and her husband John; son, Greg Hayden and his wife April; siblings, Carl Morel, Barbara Berne, Robert Morel, Sr., Yvonne Thomas, Linda "Puddy" Poillion, and Jimmy Morel; grandchildren Corey and Grant  Hayden, and Hayden and Scott Aldridge.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Morel; mother, Gloria Sibley Morel; and brother, Donald "Tabby" Morel Sr.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Friday, January 26, 2018 from 10:00 am until the Funeral Service at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow in Loranger Cemetery.
