Betty Jane Parsons

Betty Jane Parsons, of Springfield, Louisiana, passed away at Ochsner Medical Center, Jefferson Hwy on Sunday, August 2, 2020, at the age of 60. She was born on Monday, July 11, 1960, in Midland, Texas.

Betty is survived by her husband, Steve Parsons, Sons, Matthew St.Cyr (Jessica), and Hunter St.Cyr ((Ashley), stepson, Troy Parsons (Ravien), stepdaughter, Paula Kreutzer (PeeWee), siblings, Robert Atkinson (Gayle), Jackie Atkinson (Lynn), Dorothy Owens (Jerry), Jeanette Smith (Alex Dantagnan), and Steve Atkinson (Patricia), grandchildren, Matthew, Colin, Lizzie, Dustin, Anthony,Annastyn, Elijah, Luke and Blake.

She was preceded in death by parents, Robert Atkinson and Jewel Gross Atkinson, sisters and brother, Kathy Morgan, JoAnne Graves and John Henry Atkinson.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home -  Ponchatoula , 100 W. Magnolia St., Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454 on Thursday, August 6, 2020 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am.

A Funeral Service will be held at Funeral Home Chapel - Ponchatoula, 100 W. Magnolia St., Ponchatoula, Louisiana  on Thursday at 11:00 am, with Brother Nathan Wall officiating.

Interment will follow at  in Carter Cemetery.
