Bettie Foster Spano

Bettie Foster Spano passed away on Monday, August 19, 2019, in Hammond, Louisiana at the age of 85.  She was born on Wednesday, December 20, 1933 in Virginia to Herbert Foster and Mabel Spencer Foster. She was a resident of Hammond, Louisiana.

Bettie is survived by her children, Wendy L. Danna, Frank J. Spano, Catherine A. Spano, Dennis N. Spano, Douglas E. Spano, 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Frank F. Spano; parents, Herbert Foster and Mabel Spencer Foster; and two brothers, Herbert and Dewey Foster.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation held on Friday, August 23, 2019, from 10:30 am - 11:00 am at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, to be followed by a Funeral Mass.

Interment will follow in Holly Gardens Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family asked that donations be made to St. Jude Hospital in her honor.
