Bessie "Carolyn" Broome LeTard

Bessie "Carolyn" Broome LeTard passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, in Covington, Louisiana, at the age of 76.  She was born on Sunday, November 9, 1947 in Canton, Mississippi to the late Mattie A. Holland Broome and the late Albert M. Broome.  She was a resident of Ponchatoula, Louisiana. Carolyn worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for over 40 years.

Carolyn is survived by her sister & brother-in-law, Dianne and Darrel Marcotte; brother, Luther Broome; aunt, Ruby Rivers; and Ruby's daughter, Renee.

In addition to her parents, Carolyn is also preceded in death by her brother, Harvey Dean Broome.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula, 100 W Magnolia Street, Ponchatoula, Louisiana, 70454 on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, beginning at 9:30 AM until the funeral service begins at 11:00 AM.

Interment will follow in Sand Hill Cemetery, Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
