Bessie LaRue Rogers Boudreaux

Bessie LaRue Quinn Rogers Boudreaux passed away on Saturday, November 1, 2025, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 100. She was born on Sunday, November 2, 1924 in Hammond, Louisiana to the late Grace Case Quinn and the late Charles Quinn. She was a resident of Ponchatoula, Louisiana.

Bessie is survived by her son & daughter-in-law, Mike & Betty Claire Rogers; daughter & son-in-law, Peggy & V.E. Wells; daughter, Gloria Kolwe; 10 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Bessie is also preceded in death by her first husband, Bill Rogers; second husband, C.L. Boudreaux; daughter, Bonnie Jean Boudreaux; grandson, Bill Michael Rogers, Jr.; son-in-law, Chet Kolwe; and brothers, Buddy Quinn, Herbert Quinn, and Donald Quinn.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula, 100 W. Magnolia Street, Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454, on Friday, November 7, 2025, beginning at 9:00 AM until the funeral service begins at 11:00 AM.

Interment will follow in Wetmore Cemetery, Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
