Bert D. Perilloux, Sr.

Bert D. Perilloux, Sr., of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away at his home with his loving family by his side on Thursday, February 3, 2022, at the age of 87. He was born on June 18, 1934, in Ponchatoula, Louisiana, the son of the late Frank Adam Perilloux and Mary Louise Dragg Perilloux. Bert was an avid deer hunter and a self-proclaimed "professional fisherman." He was a former shrimp boat captain and loved being on the water. Bert was a loving husband and father, and he will be missed dearly.

Bert is survived by his wife of 52 years, Gloria Fedele Perilloux; children, Debra Perilloux Zoerner (Billy) and Bert D. Perilloux, Jr. (Ruthie); grandchildren, Wallace Adam Dees, Matthew Dees (Heather), Jacob Perilloux (Amber), and Grace Perilloux; great grandchildren, Monroe Dees, Sloane Dees, and Cash Daniel Perilloux; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Bert was preceded in death by his brother, Norman "Sonny" Perilloux.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 100 W. Magnolia St., Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454 on Friday, February 4, 2022, from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will begin on Friday at 1:00 pm, with Deacon Larry Melancon officiating.

Interment will follow at Morse Cemetery in Bedico, Louisiana.
