Bernice Marie Sharp

Bernice Marie Sharp  passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2019, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 83.  She was born on Sunday, February 23, 1936 in Ponchatoula, Louisiana to the late Eulah Delaune and the late Percy Lavigne.  She was a resident of Hammond, Louisiana.

Bernice is survived by her daughters, Marie Sharp Blow (Bobby), Connie L. Sharp, and Lynn Sharp; sons, Gene Sharp (Kayla), Dennis Sharp (Rachel); sisters, Erma Wilde, Julia  Nicolosi, and Cynthia Barrow; brothers, Percy Lavigne and Ronnie Lavigne; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Bernice was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Sharp; son, David Sharp; and daughter, Bonnie Sharp.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula, 100 W. Magnolia St., Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454, on Saturday, September 21, 2019 beginning at 11:00 AM until the memorial service begins at 1:00 PM.
