Benny F. Webb III, age 53, peacefully passed away in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on Saturday, September 21, 2024. He was born October 5, 1970, in Baton Rouge to the late Dorothy Kiss Webb and Benny F. Webb Jr. When he was younger, he and his parents went to Fan Fair in Nashville, TN, every summer for 25 years, where he met some of his favorite country artists, Oak Ridge Boys, Marty Stuart, Alabama, Neal McCoy, Alan Jackson, Jerry Reed, Faith Hill, Mark Willis, just to name a few. Benny enjoyed his coffee, Dr. Peppers, watching wrestling, and hanging out with his friends and family. His favorite day was his birthday, though he celebrated each day as if it were his birthday. What made him happy the most was having family get togethers and seeing all his family and spending time with them, especially at the famous Annual Webb New Years Party. He was a special soul with a big personality who will be deeply missed.
He leaves behind his cousins, Keith Walker, Lynne Kinchen, Becky Estes, Lisa Spiers, Laura Massey, Kristen Hoover, Brian Bova, Joshua Kiss and Brett Bova; aunt, Debbie Kiss; as well as his loving family and friends at Summer House.
Preceding him in death were his parents; cousin, Darrel Morrison; aunts and uncles, Patti and Vince Bova, Carolyn and David Walker, June and Carroll Yelverton, Joe Kiss, Kathleen Hoskins, Glenda Accardo, Norma Capone; and his family and friends at Summer House who have gone before him.
Family and friends are invited to attend his Celebration of Life Service on Thursday, September 26th, 2024, at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond at 12:00 p.m. with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Bro. Randy Ray will officiate the services with burial to follow in Hungarian Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Albany, La.
The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the Staff at Summer House Community Home for their love and care during his 8 years living there, and the many friends he made that he called family.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations made to Summer House Community Home, 32649 Perkins Rd., Denham Springs, Louisiana, 70726.
