Bennie Daniel Cascio Jr.

Mr. Bennie Daniel Cascio Jr., age 69 of Hammond, Louisiana, passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2019, at Landmark Nursing Center. He was born on Friday, November 25, 1949, in Independence, Louisiana, the son of the late Bennie Sr. and Corrine Runfalo Cascio.

He was a retired Mail Carrier for the United States Post Office.

Bennie is survived by his wife, Rose Robert Cascio, son & daughter-in-law, Brad Joseph and Katie Cascio, daughter & son-in-law, Katherine Cascio and Chris Bordelon, step-son, Joseph Mezzic, step-daughter and son-in-law, Racheal Mezzic and Glenn Guerra Jr., step-daughter, Katie Mezzic, grandchildren, Olivia Cascio, Sam Cascio, Emma Thibodeaux, Colin Bordelon, Glenn Guerra III, Addison Guerra, Noah Bordelon, and Chandler Mezzic, and his sister, Cathy C. Breland.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Cascio.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am.

Services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, at 11:00 am, with Deacon Nat Garofalo officiating.

Interment will follow at Colonial Cemetery Mausoleum in Independence, Louisiana.
