Cpl. Benjamin H. Moore, Jr.

Cpl. Benjamin H. Moore Jr. passed away on Friday, September 3, 2021, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, at the age of 81.  He was born on Monday, February 19, 1940,  to the late Stella Reece Moore and the late Benjamin Moore, Sr..  He was a resident of Hammond, Louisiana.

Benjamin is survived by his children Benjamin Moore III (Angela), Sharon Moore, and James Keith Moore; and grandchildren, John, Rebecca, Kerri, Aaron, Brandon, Tyler, Camden, Alexis, Heavin, and Adiyah.

He was preceded in death by his father, Benjamin Moore, Sr.; mother, Stella Reece Moore; son, Daryl Moore; and wife, Chestine Connell Moore.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home in Hammond, 2000 N Morrison Boulevard, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Sunday, September 12, 2021, beginning at 11:00 AM, until the funeral service begins at 1:00 PM.  

Interment will follow in Holly Gardens Cemetery, Hammond, Louisiana.
