Barbara Rogers Keen

Barbara Rogers Keen passed away on Thursday, August 5, 2021, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 92.  She was born on Sunday, May 19, 1929 in Natalbany, Louisiana to the late Edith Wall Rogers and the late Merrill Rogers.  She was a resident of Hammond, Louisiana.

Barbara is survived by her sons, Bobby Keen and his wife, Sue, and David Keen and his wife, Stephanie; grandchildren, Julie K. White (Curtis), Courtney K. Brunson (John), Maggie K. Singer, Tate Keen (Becky), Trace Keen, Megan Keen, and Savannah Perrin, Natalie Travis, and Tori Travis; great-grandchildren, Reese White, Neela White, Amelia Brunson, John Luke Brunson, and Nora Brunson, Parker Davis, Hadleigh Davis, Lyla Singer, Wyatt Perrin, and Ezra Keen; and brothers, Fred "Freck" Rogers, Charles "Buddy" Rogers, and Lloyd Rogers.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was also preceded in death by her husband, Don Keen; brother, Bill Rogers; sisters, Katherine R. King and Sandra R. Creel; sons, Jay Keen and Daniel "Danny" Keen; and daughter-in-law, Camille Kemp Keen.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond, 2000 N. Morrison Boulevard, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Sunday, August 8, 2021 beginning at 12:00 PM until the funeral service begins at 2:00 PM.  

Interment will follow in Holly Gardens Cemetery, Hammond, Louisiana.

Pallbearers for Barbara will be Curtis White, Pat King, John Brunson, Bill King, Ron Dufrene, and Scott Guidroz.
