Barbara Messina Graziano

Barbara Messina Graziano, age 67 of Independence, Louisiana, passed away on Friday, November 15, 2019, at North Oaks Medical Center. She was born on October 2, 1952, in Independence, Louisiana, the daughter of the late Mario Messina, Sr. and Genevieve Gregorie Messina.

Barbara is survived by her husband of 46 years, Phillip Graziano; mother, Genevieve Messina; daughter, Angelia G. Cali and husband Sam; son, Raymond Phillip Graziano and wife Lisa; granddaughters, Victoria Rooney Wilson and husband Eli and Genevieve Graziano; and brother, Mario "Sonny" Messina, Jr. and wife Flora; mother in law, Bessie Bertone Graziano.

She was preceded in death by her father, Mario Messina Sr; and father in law, Nace Raymond Graziano.

Family and friends will be received at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church, 609 3rd St. Independence, Louisiana 70443, on Thursday, November 21, 2019 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am.

Funeral Mass will be held at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church on Thursday,  at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow at Colonial Cemetery in Independence, Louisiana.
