Bambi Lyn Watson

Bambi Lyn Watson, of Holden, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 13, 2023, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 50.  She was born on Monday, December 11, 1972, to the late, Douglas “Slim” and Sondra Watson.  Bambi was a caring woman with a loud voice and a special love for music.  She took satisfaction in being a tidy and organized individual, who was determined in all her endeavors.  Knowing Bambi was never a dull moment, everyday was an adventure, and she lived life to the fullest.  

Bambi is survived by her two sons, James Ard and Dale Roberson Jr.; nieces, Destin Waller and Starr Lynn Matherne; and nephews, Dustin Waller and Raymond Baio.

In addition to her parents, Bambi is preceded in death by her sister, Tina Matherne; grandparents, Angelo and Joyce Baio; and uncles, Luby Baio and Angelo Pancho Baio, Jr.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home 2000 N. Morrison Blvd., Hammond, Louisiana on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. A celebration of life service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 6:00 p.m. with Brother Randy Ray officiating.
