Baby Jerry Wayne Short Iii

Baby Jerry Wayne Short III, of Amite, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 7, 2019, at St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington. He was born on Thursday, September 5, 2019, in Covington.

* God gave me an angel, A special gift he gives very few. Though I could only keep him for a while, He let me keep the memories, that will always make me smile. *

Baby Jerry is survived by his loving parents, Jerry Short, Jr. and Kayla Horn Short, his brother, Cuyler Horn, his sisters, Chloe Horn and Aubrey Short, his grandparents, Jerry, Sr. and Paulette Short, his aunts, Danyelle Gregson and her husband Quinn, Desirea Hano, Mary Shar and her husband Laine, Sherrie Bumgarden and her husband Tyler May and Destiny Parsons, also numerous aunt, uncles and cousins.

Baby Jerry was preceded in death by his grandmother, Christine Horn.

A Visitation for Baby Jerry will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2019 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond. A Memorial Service for Baby Jerry will immediately follow the visitation at 3:00 pm in the funeral home chapel.
