Baby Ariana Luella Miller

Ariana Luella Miller was welcomed into heaven January 10, 2024.  She was the infant daughter of Madison Picou and Alex Miller.  Ariana was the granddaughter of Keith and Nicole Picou, Jonathan and Amy Dees, and Randy and Shannon Miller; great granddaughter of Keith Picou, Sr, Elda Wilson, Charlie and Marybeth Stevens, Ricky and Sandy Miller and Katie Crain.  Ariana is preceded in death by her great grandmothers, Aleta Bankston, Patricia Picou, and Iris Picou.  Visitation will be held Friday, January 19, 2024, at Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home, 100 West Magnolia Street, Ponchatoula, after 10 a.m. until services at 11:00 a.m.  Burial will follow in Maurepas Cemetery.

“When God calls little children to dwell with him above, we mortals sometime question the wisdom of his love.  For no heartache compares with the death of one small child who does so much to make our world seem wonderful and mild.  Perhaps God tires of calling the aged to his fold, so He picks a rosebud before he can grow old.  God knows how much we need them, and so he takes but a few to make the land of Heaven more beautiful to view.  Believing this is difficult still somehow we must try, the saddest word mankind knows will always be “Goodbye.”  So, when a little child departs, we, who are left behind, must realize God loves children, Angels are hard to find.”
