Ashley Sherie Kliebert

Ashley would love to be with us all today, but she’s at the never ending Woodstock in the sky with the big guy himself. Funerals are a drag, and, in true fashion, she wasn't here to have a bad time, just a good time. 
 
Ashley Lofton Kliebert, kind soul, outdoorswoman, and all around badass, entered this world 28 February 1977 and left us 26 September 2023. She was loved by all but most especially (listed deceased and living) her parents, Beverly Bresher and William Lofton; Aunt Judy Galladora; sisters Karie Stephens, Jennie Stephens, Sherry Miller, and brothers Todd Lofton and Johnny Lofton; husband Larry Kliebert; nieces Brittney Mansfield, Casey Stephens, and Krystle Stephens; cousins Robbie Lofton, Kathy Lofton, Hugh Lofton Jr, Rachael Lofton Pendergrass, Bre McDaniel; and countless great nieces and nephews with more friends than strangers.
 
Ashley marched to the beat of her own drum. She may have created her own drumline at times. She always raised hell wherever she went, but no one can deny the love that overflowed from her. While we may never understand why it came to pass that she left us, we can rest easy that she’ll never have to check to see if her warrants are clear again. Here’s to your last court date.
 
Services will be held at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N Morrison Boulevard, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on October 8, 2023 from 10 AM until 1 PM. For anyone wishing to donate, please direct all donations and flowers directly to the funeral home by phone at (985) 345-5801.

Interment will follow in Mitchell Cemetery, Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
