Arthur Ray Bennett, Sr.

Arthur Ray Bennett, Sr. was born December 9, 1946 in Independence, LA to the late Clarence and Hilda Colkmire Bennett.  He passed away at his home in Ponchatoula, LA November 4, 2022.  He is survived by his wife Patricia Bigner Bennett; children, Arthur Ray Bennett, Jr. (Julie), Dale Bennett (Michelle), and Travis Bennett (Emily); siblings, Mildred Luckette, George Bennett (Debbie), Linda Peoples (James), and Jeannie Voudris (Greg); grandchildren, Justin Bennett, Jesse Bennett, and Korey Bennett; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Arthur is preceded in death by his first wife, Gwen Bennett Tobey.  Visitation will be held at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 100 W. Magnolia Street, Ponchatoula, Friday, November 11, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. until religious services at 1:00 p.m.
