Arthur Cleveland

Arthur Lee Cleveland, born May 12th 1941, gained his wings on January 13th 2026, surrounded by some of his best friends and family. 

Art is survived by his wife of 38 years, Leslie Cleveland; sons, Cory, Clay, and Cabot (Teena) Cleveland; daughters, Connie Bates (David), Cindy Newell (Brooks), and Carrie Carpenter (Keith); step-children, David Carter Jr (Carolyn), Kenneth Carter (Laura), and Shirley Browder (Jamie); numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Cara Johnson (Vernon); and lifelong friends that he shared his love of trail riding with.

Preceded in death by parents, WL and Bertie Cleveland; brother, Wayne Cleveland; daughter-in-law, Kristi Cleveland, and grandsons Colton Newell and Brandon Carter. Arthur Lee wore many hats in his lifetime; as a farmer, carpenter, teamster, and boilermaker, but his most rewarding of all was being a father to his children and grandchildren. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. A special thanks to the wonderful staff of Modern Hospice, for the assistance in his care during his final days.
