Arley Brooks Short

Arley Brooks Short passed away on Friday, July 1, 2022, in Hammond, Louisiana.  He was born in Hammond, Louisiana to Cari Short and Derek Short.

Arley is survived by his parents, Cari and Derek Short; siblings, Paisley, Gavon, Lola, Jesse, Liam, and Khloe grandparents, Joseph Costanza, Jr., Dewayne Short, Denise Martin, and Joseph Martin; great-grandparents, Mary Saragusa, Juanita Herron, and Rachel and Joseph Costanza, Sr.; aunts and uncles, Venesia Brooks Lawrence, Destiny and Bit Smith, and Kevin Costanza; and numerous other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Juanita Costanza; great-grandparents, Dorothy Miller, Gerald and Marcella Hudson, and Samuel Short; and uncle, Jason Lawrence.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond, 2000 N. Morrison Boulevard, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Thursday, July 7, 2022, beginning at 11:00 AM until the funeral service begins at 1:00 PM.  

Interment will follow in Loranger Community Cemetery, Loranger, Louisiana.
