Annie Laura Sullivan Tompkins

Annie Laura Sullivan Tompkins, 83 years old, passed away on November 20,2019, at Richard Murphy Hospice House. She retired as a dental assistant for Dr. John S. Scarle with the Ponchatoula Clinic. 

Annie Laura is survived by her children, Michael Tompkins (Kim), David Tompkins (Terry), and Elizabeth "Liz" Bickford (Mark); 5 grandchildren, Charlie Tompkins (Brent), Daniel Tompkins (Shauntel), Michelle Ferrage (Jamie), Trent Tompkins (Brittany), and Tracy Bickford; 4 great-grandchildren, Ethan, Talyn, and Brody Tompkins, and Lucy Ferrage; sisters, Henrietta Newman, Billie Joyce Accardo; brother, James "Jimmy" Sullivan (Michelle); and many nieces & nephews. 

Annie was preceded in death by husband of 62 years, Wilfred Tompkins; parents, James and Mildred Sullivan; sisters, Geneva Venuto, Anna Mae Hart; brother, Lewis Sullivan. 

A Visitation for Annie will be held on Sunday, November 24, 2019 from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond. A Funeral Service Celebrating Annie's Life will immediately follow visitation at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Rose Memorial Park Cemetery in Hammond. 

The family would like all memorial donations to be made to the Richard Murphy Hospice Foundation, 1109 S. Chestnut St, Hammond, LA  70403 in Annie's memory.
