Anna Silessi Baham Cook, longtime resident of Pine Grove, Louisiana, passed away at St. Tammany Parish Hospital surrounded by her daughters on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at the age of 75. She was a native of Hammond, Louisiana born on Thursday, September 5, 1946, the daughter of the late Peter and Maryann Silessi. Ms. Anna was a retired bus driver and monitor for Tangipahoa Parish School Board.

In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Bobby" Baham, Sr., husband, Ellis Cook, and great granddaughter, Mary Taylor Landry.

Anna is survived by her one son, Robert "Bobby" Baham, Jr. (Stacy); two daughters, Kathy Baham Landry and Regina Baham Forrest and son-in-law, Daniel Forrest; four step daughters, Debbie Cook Ferrera, Anna Cook Douget, Kelly Cook, and Camile Mocsary; one step son, Ellis Vahn Cook, Jr.; 14 grandchildren, Tonya Chauvin, O'Neal Landry, Brittany Anthony, Anthony Baham, Ariana Reeves, Sydnie Goold, Briana Whitfield, Wade Landry, Destiny Forrest, Mitchell Brown, Misty Brown, Raelyn Burnett, Titus Forrest, and Triston Schmitt; 13 great grandchildren; five step grandchildren; sister, Denise Silessi Barrett (Jamie); brother, Frank Silessi (Donna); brother-in-law, Eugene Gail Baham (Gayle); and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses of St. Tammany Parish Hospital for the wonderful care and support that she was given.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401 on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Visitation will continue at Harry McKneely & Son - Hammond on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 from 9:00 am until 10:30 am.

A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 600 North Oak Street, Hammond, Louisiana 70401 on Wednesday at 11:00 am.

Entombment will follow at Rose Memorial Park Cemetery in Hammond, Louisiana.
