Andrew James Morales

Andrew James Morales passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2022, in Ponchatoula, Louisiana, at the age of 21.  He was born on Monday, July 30, 2001 in Covington, Louisiana to Jennifer Kennedy Morales and Fernando Morales, Jr.  He was a resident of Ponchatoula, Louisiana.

Andrew was very athletic and played baseball and basketball growing up. He was always joking and was known to give his nurses a hard time. Andrew was very comfortable in his own skin, generous, and he was always himself. He also loved history and enjoyed studying everything to do with World War II.

Andrew is survived by his parents, Jennifer Kennedy Morales and Fernando Morales, Jr.; brothers, Jonathan Morales and his wife, Abbey, and Daniel Morales; aunts, Jocelyn Brandt and her husband, Matt, and Arlene Morales McIntyre and her husband, Darryl; and cousins, Hailey Brandt Aries, Cameron Brandt, Jennifer McIntyre, and Selena McIntyre.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dorthea and Tom Kennedy and Lucy and Fernando Morales, Sr.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 255 N 8th Street, Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454, on Thursday, January 5, 2023 beginning at 9:00 AM until the funeral mass begins at 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made toward masses in Andrew's name.
