Amanda "Mandy" Cosby, age 39, left this earthly world behind on Tuesday, July 14, 2026. She was born on January 17, 1987, in Hammond, Louisiana. Mandy was a very hard worker who brightened up the room where ever she went, she was currently a stocker at Walmart for many dedicated years. She was always known to be the life of the party, fun loving, outgoing, but still down to earth, strong, caring and kind. Mandy played hard and loved even harder, her family was her world and stopped at nothing to make them happy and feel loved. She said what was on her mind, did not have a filter, gave real advice like no other, and was always there when she was needed. Her passion was being on the water, whether it was the river, pool, or the beach, she was ready with her shot of patron and a smile on her face, in her happy place, with the people she cared about making lasting memories they will cherish forever. Family trips to Buc-ees, wont be the same without her. Mandy was also a fan of the New Orleans Saints, so much so, that her and her husband, John wore Saints jerseys for their wedding at Natalbany Baptist Church, 16 years ago. Her deep faith in her Lord and Savior kept her going through her life until the very end, now she is dancing on the streets of gold as a newly inducted guardian angel for her family. Mandy was an amazing wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend to all who knew her and will be missed greatly.
She leaves behind her loving husband of 18 years, John Cosby; children, Lea-Ann Nuccio and John Cosby III; mother and stepfather, Sheri McCrory and Bubba McCrory; sister, Michelle Hoyt (Dwayne); brother, Casey Willie (Leslie); as well as many other extended family.
Preceding her in death was her father, Charlie Wayne Taylor; grandmother, Syvonne Nuccio; granny, Joyce Taylor; and maw maw, Violet Lindsey.
The family would like to request Sundays Best Attire.
