Allen Joseph Ordeneaux III

Allen Joseph Ordeneaux III, age 61, born on December 19, 1964, in Lutcher, LA, and a resident of Hammond, LA, passed away on July 25, 2026. He loved his family, friends, and the communities he served. Allen worked as a law enforcement officer and homicide detective for over 25 years across southeastern Louisiana, taking great pride in answering the call to help and protect others.

He enjoyed reading Stephen King novels, watching LSU football, and playing rock and roll music on his guitar. He will be deeply missed and forever loved as a beautiful soul gained by Heaven.

Allen is preceded in death by his parents, Mary Jane Lessard McKinney and Allen Joseph Ordeneaux Jr; his children Victoria Ordeneaux and Krystal Hill; his brother Dale Ordeneaux; and his nephew John Womack Jr.

He is survived by his siblings: Darlene Ordeneaux, Terry Ordeneaux, and Mary Clayton. He lives on through his children: Eric Furlow, Shannon Ordeneaux, Allena Robertson, Dillon Ordeneaux, Daniel Ordeneaux, and Kimberly Ordeneaux.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, August 29th, 2026, at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home (2000 North Morrison Boulevard, Hammond, LA, 70401) from 09:00 AM - 12:00 PM CST.
