Aline Lucille Threeton Fontenot

Aline Lucille Threeton Fontenot, 77 years old of Springfield, Louisiana, passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2019,at North Oaks Medical Center in Hammond. She was born on Thursday, October 1,1942, in Independence, Louisiana to Emmett and Mildred Todd Threeton. Aline was a lifelong resident of Springfield, Louisiana. She enjoyed her weekly trips to Walmart, loved cooking and was an amazing cook! Aline loved watching her shows but, most of all she enjoyed her long talks and visits with her family. 

Aline is survived by her 4 sons, Troy Granger and his wife Melissa, Joseph Granger and his wife Carol, Ronnie Granger and his late wife Diane, and Michel Guidroz, her 2 daughters, Melissa Fontenot and Alexis Walker, her grandchildren, Traci Granger and husband Thomas Tenhaaf,Megan McCarroll and her husband Kevin, Marie Buras, Lanny Sterling, Jr., Elizabeth Brignac and her husband Paul, Nikki Lipscomb and her husband Mac, Shane Pierre, Jody Keaghey and her husband Brock, Melvin Ray Jones, Jr., and his wife Amanda Sanders, Destin’Ee Granger and her husband Austin Anthony, Mickey Collums, Clifton Collums, and Katherine Collums, 30 great grandchildren, her brother Richard Threeton and his wife Wanda, her 4 sisters, Sally Parent, Shirley Dick, Francis Marshall and her husband Steve and Brenda Threeton and her husband Joe, also many nieces, nephews and close friends. 

Aline is preceded in death by her parents, Emmett and Mildred Todd Threeton, her husband Robert Fontenot, her son, Richard Granger, her daughter in law Diane Granger, her 3 brothers, Glen Threeton, Joseph Threeton and Kenny Threeton.  

A Visitation for Aline will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2019 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and continue Friday,December 20, 2019 from 8:00 am until 10:00 am at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula. A Funeral Service Celebrating Aline's Life will immediately follow Friday’s visitation at 10:00 am in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Springfield Cemetery in Springfield.
