Alice Whiddon Bourgeois

Alice Whiddon Bourgeois passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2021, in Ponchatoula, Louisiana, surrounded by her loving family, She was 82 years old.  She was born on Monday, January 23, 1939 in Independence, Louisiana to the late Lourena Thomas Whiddon and the late Harley Whiddon.  She was a resident of Ponchatoula, Louisiana.

Alice is survived by her husband of 63 years, Roland Bourgeois; daughter, Nancy Wagner, and her husband, Matt; son, David Bourgeois, and his wife, Stormie; grandchildren, Courtney Threeton (Braden), Jami Bourgeois (Ray Cupit), Rhett Wagner (Tressa Crawford), Lacy Helminiak (James), Breann Dees (Chris), Clint Goodwin, and Harley Bourgeois; 10 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Charles Whiddon (Maggie), Travis Whiddon (Linda Jean), and Linda Miller.

In addition to her parents, Alice is also preceded in death by her siblings, Harold Whiddon, Edith Perry, Catherine Cooper, and Rono Whiddon.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula, 100 W. Magnolia Street, Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454, on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 beginning at 10:00 AM until the funeral service begins at 1:00 PM.

Interment will follow in Sand Hill Cemetery, Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
