Alice Irene Gordon

Alice Irene Gordon, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister passed away at the age of 84. She was born on January 19, 1940, and passed away January 2, 2025. She was born in Tickfaw, Louisiana and a native of Holden, Louisiana. Alice was the most precious mom and grandmother with a humble heart. She enjoyed sitting in her swing with family and friends, drinking coffee and laughing. She will be missed by all who loved her.

She is survived by her son, Justin D. Gordon and wife Robbie; three daughters, Judy D. Kliebert and husband Keith, Jeanna M. Johnson and husband Randy, and Joanna S. Easley and husband Scott. She has 19 grandkids and 27 great-grandkids. She was also survived by her sister, Marie Howard and husband Don. 

She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Archie Edward Gordon; sons, Jerry L. Gordon and Jimmy E. Gordon and wife Evie; parents, Jacob "J.T." Smith and Audrey I. Smith; and brother, Eugene Smith.

A Graveside Service will be held at James Chapel Cemetery, James Chapel Road, Holden, Louisiana 70744 on Monday, January 6, 2025 at 1:00 pm.
