Alfred Leon Wyble, Jr. passed away on June 14, 2026, at the age of 91. He was born on July 11, 1934, to Alfred and Regina Noel Wyble in Rosa, Louisiana. He graduated from Baker High School and proudly served eight years in the United States Air Force, including during the Korean conflict.

After his service, Al returned to Baton Rouge, where he went to work at Louisiana Creamery - and where he met Elsie Gremillion, the love of his life. They were married for 58 years until her passing in 2021.

Al went on to build a career at Exxon Chemical, working nearly 30 years before his retirement. Together, he and Elsie raised two sons in Baker, Louisiana, and later moved to Hammond to be closer to their grandchildren.

Alfred is survived by his sons Rich (Tammy) and Steve (Miriam); grandchildren Jordan (Delaney) and Julia; his sister Bessie Hayward; and his brother Jim (Ivy) Wyble, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Elsie, his sister Carol Nahser, and his brother Mike Wyble.

Throughout his life, Al enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, traveling, and above all, spending time with his family.
