Alan Michael Kahrs

Alan Michael Kahrs  passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2017, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 51.  He was born on Wednesday, October 27, 1965 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Sharon Vallas Kahrs and Terry Michel Kahrs.  He was a resident of Hammond, Louisiana.

Alan is survived by his loving wife, Tammy Barrett Kahrs; sons, Jonathan Alan Kahrs, James Michael Kahrs, Tyler McCullough, and William Cody (Jamie) McCullough; his parents, Terry and Sharon Kahrs; his brother, Daniel (Dixie) Kahrs; his sister, Kelly (Steve) Rachal; his granddaughters, Pippa Emerson and Coraline Kahrs, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leonard and Minna Kahrs Sr. and  Preston and Mildred Vallas.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Gathering on Friday, October 20, 2017, from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home 2000 N. Morrison Blvd. Hammond, Louisiana 70401.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
