Alan Gregory Klein, Sr.

Alan Gregory Klein, Sr. passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2026, in Ponchatoula, Louisiana, at the age of 72. He was born on Wednesday, November 18, 1953, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to the late Lois Jean and Adolph Klein, Jr. He was a resident of Ponchatoula, Louisiana. Alan will be forever memorialized in the SLU Alumni Hall of Fame and was a two-time All-American record setter and a professional wrestler.

Alan is survived by his wife, Sharon Klein; children, Alan Gregory "Greg" Klein, Jr. (Jennifer), Rami Jo Lambert and Jodi Klein; grandchildren, Atlas, Lilliana and Scarlet Klein, Haley Klein, Luke, Adelyn and Fayelynn Lambert, Dani Neese (Zachary) and David Klein; great-grandchildren, Logan James, Frankie Alan, Pailsey Mae and Ezra Marc Neese; siblings, Rusty Klein (Martha) and Sybil Shockley (Bruce); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Alan was preceded in death by his brothers, Mike and David Klein.
