Alan Foster

Alan Foster, 62, of Hammond, Louisiana, passed away on March 2, 2026. Born on January 23, 1964, in Marrero, Louisiana, Alan lived a life filled with love, laughter, and dedication to his family and friends.

Alan was a devoted husband, father, and PopPop who brought joy to those around him with his unique sense of humor. He had a passion for the outdoors and found happiness in fishing, pontooning on the water with a bushwhacker in hand, and spending time by his pool and outdoor kitchen surrounded by loved ones. While he enjoyed the idea of deer hunting, it was being out on the water with family and friends that truly brought him peace.

A hardworking man, Alan successfully ran his own business and earned the admiration and affection of many of his customers. His dedication to his work was matched only by his commitment to entertaining and caring for those he held dear. Alan’s presence lit up every gathering, leaving behind cherished memories for all who knew him.

A celebration of Alan's life will be held at the family residence for close family and friends on Sunday, March 8. Guests are welcome to stop by anytime between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. at 17149 E Domiano Ln., Hammond, LA 70401.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Alan's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
